The ninth edition of the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) will kick off on March 19 and continue till March 21, 2019. BITEX 2019 will be held under the patronage of the Kingdom’s Minister of Transportation, H.E. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, at the Gulf Hotel.

If you’re in two minds about whether or not to attend the exhibition, well, allow us to point out that BITEX happens to be one heck of a networking platform for tech entrepreneurs and aficionados. Investors, business leaders, and like-minded people linked to the ICT sector from across the region and beyond attend the event every year. They get together and look out for possible collaboration, investment opportunities, and growth strategies.

At the same time, the event gives ICT companies based in Bahrain an established global platform to demonstrate their innovations.

The theme of the exhibition this year, to be held by Worksmart, is “Innovative and Adaptive Digital Transformation” and it will focus on raising awareness about the significance of quality ICT innovation in the upliftment of governance, businesses, and the society as a whole.

“This year we have taken a lot of feedback from our partners, sponsors and exhibitors and have vowed to bring a better and much bigger experience to make sure everyone involved benefits,” said Ahmed Al-Hujairy, Group CEO, Worksmart for Events Management.

BITEX 2019 will be held on the sidelines of the MEET ICT Conference, which means those attending the exhibition will have the opportunity to connect with the wider ICT community not just from the Middle East, but from all over the world.
