If you haven’t already, now is a good time to mark your calendar as the region’s most exciting innovation festival Unbound prepares for a grand comeback. The two-day mega-event will kick off on March 6, 2019, in Bahrain. And as always, it will unleash a slew of interactive activities designed to highlight all the feats achieved by the region’s innovation-driven startup ecosystem.
Alongside, Unbound Bahrain 2019 will also focus on future potentials of the region’s blooming entrepreneurial scene.
All in all, it’s going to be an action-packed event where some of MENA’s brightest minds and inventive brands will get together alongside industry leaders, market gurus, investors, and government officials.
The 2019 iteration of Unbound is expected to be twice as large as compared to the previous iterations. Among other changes, the event will also move to a new venue (Bahrain National Theater).

For the uninitiated, Unbound is hailed as the anchor event of the StartUp Bahrain Week, a week-long fest dedicated to the Kingdom’s growing stature in the world of startups and entrepreneurship.
Unbound Bahrain 2019 will feature more than 75 global recognized speakers, as well as over 3,000 local, regional, and international delegates. Among the most prestigious speakers to be addressing the thousands of attendees are Tom Goodwin, EVP, Head of Innovation, Zenith USA; Tim Draper, Founder, Draper Associates; Waleed Alballaa, Partner, STV VC; and Hussain Mohammed Al Mahmoudi, CEO, Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).
