Come December, management consulting firm Euromena Consulting will host a special MENA-focused event wherein it will take the first stride towards engaging the region’s promising social enterprises with the potential to resolve local problems. The event will be a part of the Euromena Awards, and it will be hosted in collaboration with ArabNet and Beirut Digital District. Scheduled on Dec 6, 2018, the event will take place right at the heart of Lebanon’s thriving startup ecosystem in Beirut Digital District.

The Euromena Awards is a competition for emerging startups in the region that aims to deploy their innovations to make an impact on the social, environmental, and economic landscapes of the Middle East and North Africa. Startups from any vertical, including the health, education, finance and FinTech, and technology sectors (among others) can apply. The only eligibility criteria are:

  • The applicant must be based in MENA
  • The applicant must be an operational startup
  • The applicant must use technology as a tool or a product/service
  • The applicant must not be a solo venture and have at least two team members

A panel of judges will handpick five most promising startups for the grand finale where representatives of these companies will require to pitch to a jury comprising global experts from the ICT, tech, and media sectors. The top-three performers in the pitching round will be declared the winners, which will entitle them to a host of perks including financial rewards and an opportunity to receive six months of free custom business consulting support.

The last date for sending your application for Euromena Awards (Beirut) 2018 is October 29.
