Thirty teams participating in the Mashroo3i Youth Business Awards qualify for the final stage of the program, one of the key initiatives first launched by Tamkeen aimed at empowering Bahraini entrepreneurs.
The qualified teams will be expected to further develop their business prototypes, which will be displayed in a public exhibition from February 28 to March 1, 2019, at the Seef Mall – Seef District. The prototypes will be evaluated by a panel of judges whose members will be announced soon.
The Mashroo3i Awards empower Bahraini youth by instilling the entrepreneurial spirit in them, along with mentoring by successful Bahraini entrepreneurs in various fields. Mashroo3i has also attracted private sector companies support to sponsor initiatives, transforming them into success stories.
Towards the end of the phase, three winners will be selected out of the qualifying thirty teams. Teams will work closely with their mentors, who will guide them to develop their brand identity, and to utilize social media platforms to promote their initiatives.
Private sector companies have expressed their interest to support the business ideas such as Flat6Labs Bahrain, Bahrain FinTech Bay, Alwane Society, Pro Sky Business Center, Bahrain Social Media Club, amongst others.
The three winning teams will receive local or international training related to their business ideas supported by Tamkeen. They will also be considered for training and internships with companies from the private sector. For more information about Mashroo3i, please visit: www.mashroo3i.bh
