Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) has forged a strategic alliance with Motivate Media Group (MMG), a leading multi-platform content producer in the region. Per this partnership, both entities have signed up to allot approximately $272,000 (AED 1 million) to a fund of in-kind service.

The fund will specifically target emerging tech startups and empower them to boost their growth rate.

Diving into the specifics of the deal, all qualified tech startups from Sheraa’s portfolio of companies will enjoy exclusive access to a range of Motivate Media services. These include advertising space in print magazines, editorial assistance, and digital marketing.

Additionally, experts from Motivate Media will also help out these startups to formulate their marketing strategies and promotional plans.

“Collaborations like these are a testament to the growing sense of community within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. We look forward to building on our partnership to further support our founders, both in the current climate and beyond,” Najla Al Midfa, CEO of Sheraa, said after signing the agreement.

Meanwhile, commenting on the significance of this partnership against the backdrop of the coronavirus-induced global slowdown, Ian Fairservice, Managing Partner of Motivate Media, noted: MMG want to help and encourage SMEs during this challenging period and see their businesses grow as we approach 2021 – the 50th anniversary of the UAE.”
