Al Hilal Hospitals advances 120 Bahraini careers with Tamkeen support
Oct 30, 2025

Al Hilal Hospitals and Medical Centers confirmed it has employed and advanced the careers of 120 Bahrainis by using Tamkeen pathways, aligning with national priorities to make Bahrainis the first choice for private-sector roles. The update highlights a mix of hiring, training, and wage progression across the group’s network.
The hospital group said the effort draws on specific tracks, including the National Employment Program, the Enterprise Training Support Program, and the Wage Increment Program. Together, these tools reduce hiring friction, fund targeted upskilling, and reward performance so teams progress faster in critical care, outpatient services, and support functions.
Momentum around Tamkeen has been visible on the national stage in recent days. The Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 wrapped on October 23 with 12 partnerships and MoUs signed by participating Bahraini enterprises, reinforcing the link between program support and enterprise growth outcomes. Tamkeen’s own wrap-up underscored the same message, with 14 Bahraini companies showcased to regional partners.
For healthcare, capability building is also tracking higher. Recent coverage noted NHRA drawing praise for international recognition tied to training quality, a signal that regulatory and workforce standards are tightening. That backdrop helps private providers like Al Hilal Hospitals turn structured training and wage pathways into measurable service improvements.
Scale matters too. A 2024 Skills Bahrain healthcare sector report estimated that over 10,000 Bahrainis work across healthcare specialties, showing the size of the talent pool that can benefit from employer-led upskilling. For founders and hospital operators, the practical playbook is clear: map priority roles, use Enterprise Training Support to raise competencies, then apply Wage Increment to retain high performers over the next 6–12 months.
Healthcare is a vital industry with direct economic impact and social value. When providers pair national programs with on-the-job learning, patient experience improves and local talent moves faster into specialist roles. Al Hilal Hospitals is signaling that approach at scale, while national platforms like GITEX Bahrain Pavilion keep the market focused on outcomes that blend skills, digitisation, and sustainable growth.
