Dual win for GA Bahrain at HRM Summit in Manama
Oct 27, 2025

General Assembly Bahrain has secured two trophies at the 17th Annual HRM Summit, Awards & Expo 2025 in Manama, taking home the Training Excellence Award and the Innovative Training Program Award. The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Yousif bin Abdul Hussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, and organised by Roshcomm. According to the event’s winners page, General Assembly appears among the 2025 awardees across multiple categories. See the full list on the HRM Summit Awards 2025 winners.
The recognition aligns with fresh coverage around the Bahrain-hosted summit, which drew regional HR leaders and featured launches and announcements tied to talent development. A book launch reported “yesterday” confirms the event footprint and ministerial presence at the HRM Summit & Awards Bahrain.
General Assembly Bahrain says the dual recognition reflects consistent delivery of industry-aligned training and employer-linked outcomes. Since 2022, its programmes have empowered more than 2,100 Bahrainis through 13 programmes across 79 cohorts, with high graduation rates and strong post-programme outcomes within nine months. “These awards represent an important milestone in our journey to build a world-class talent ecosystem in Bahrain. They reflect the consistency and quality of our delivery, and our efforts to push boundaries and evolve how learning happens. This recognition belongs equally to our learners, instructors, and partners who share our belief that Bahrain’s talent can compete on a global stage,” said Ahlam Oun, Director of General Assembly Bahrain.

For Bahrain’s ecosystem, the outcome dovetails with national priorities around skills and employability. The government’s Economic Vision 2030 places competitiveness and human capital at the centre of growth. Programmes from Tamkeen support employers that invest in Bahrainis through wage support and structured training, creating room for providers to scale practical, employer-integrated learning pathways.
The HRM Summit Awards spotlight what the market is valuing today in learning and development. Employer-connected curricula, portfolio-based assessment, and faster time-to-employment are winning features. Companies building or buying training should map needs to measurable outcomes, then tap national support where relevant. The award momentum suggests Bahrain’s talent pipeline is deepening at pace, which is good news for tech companies hiring locally.
