Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA) – The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat) recently convened a virtual meeting with Egypt’s Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) to enhance research collaboration, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Chaired by Dr. Osama El Gohary, Assistant to the Egyptian Prime Minister and Chairman of IDSC, and Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Derasat, the discussion centered on advancing AI research initiatives. Derasat also presented an overview of its AI and renewable energy lab projects.

Both institutions underscored the significance of harnessing AI expertise to drive informed decision-making and foster innovation.

Dr. Al Abdulla emphasized the value of AI research partnerships in strengthening research capabilities and developing cutting-edge solutions, particularly in the realm of digital transformation.
