Tenmou, Bahrain’s pioneering Business Angels Company, has announced its latest investments in two promising startups: Tajweed, a digital platform focused on teaching the Holy Quran and Arabic language, and Travilege, a specialized ERP software solution designed for travel agencies. These strategic investments underscore Tenmou’s commitment to nurturing Bahrain’s burgeoning tech sector and supporting innovative local ventures.
Nawaf Al-Kooheji, CEO of Tenmou, emphasized the company’s dedication to expanding its portfolio, which now includes over 35 Bahraini startups. “Our goal is to drive venture investment in technology across the kingdom, showcasing the immense potential of Bahraini startups within the entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Al-Kooheji stated. Since its founding, Tenmou has consistently backed companies that have grown substantially, extending their reach beyond Bahrain to regional and global markets.
Al-Kooheji highlighted that Tenmou’s investment in Tajweed and Travilege is rooted in the belief that these startups possess significant growth potential. He noted that Tenmou’s financial backing will not only empower these companies to attract additional funding from both local and regional investors but will also play a crucial role in generating new job opportunities and stimulating entrepreneurship in the market.
Tenmou’s involvement in these startups is also part of a broader mission to foster the culture of angel investing in technology-driven ventures. The company targets startups with the potential for rapid expansion, led by founders who are committed to executing strategic plans and improving financial outcomes.
Tenmou has established a remarkable track record, achieving returns of more than three times its initial investments within an average period of under four years, far surpassing industry norms. Al-Kooheji pointed out that this success not only reflects Tenmou’s strategic acumen in identifying high-potential opportunities but also its forward-thinking approach in evaluating and supporting innovative projects that are poised for success in the market.
Tenmou’s latest investments reaffirm its role as a key player in Bahrain’s startup ecosystem, driving technological innovation and supporting the next generation of Bahraini entrepreneurs.
