Servable and Loyale named top winners at StartUp Bahrain Pitch 22

Dec 9, 2025

Servable and Loyale have been crowned first and second place winners in the twenty second edition of StartUp Bahrain Pitch, the national platform’s flagship competition for emerging startups. The latest edition, held with support from the Labour Fund Tamkeen and in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Economic Development Board and Bahrain Development Bank, put a fresh spotlight on homegrown solutions in artificial intelligence and customer loyalty, according to the official event announcement from the Bahrain News Agency.

The judging panel brought together regional investors and ecosystem leaders, including Arwa Shafi, Investor Relations Lead at Oqal Angel Investors Network, Hamad AlFahad, Executive Director and Managing Partner at Tajawoz, and Laith Al Khalili, Associate Director at Mumtalakat. Their role was to evaluate each startup on growth potential, innovation and readiness to scale, in line with Tamkeen’s mandate to empower private sector growth and Bahraini talent, as outlined on Tamkeen’s official website

A diverse group of Bahraini startups took the stage. Invo Pos Technologies presented a subscription based point of sale system that connects sales, back office operations and customer engagement tools in a single interface. Right Calories showcased its healthy meal subscription packages for customers who want convenient but balanced food choices. BD Kidz offered an integrated digital platform for kindergartens, covering attendance tracking, child monitoring, parent communication and daily routines. Servable positioned itself as a platform that enables organisations to build advanced artificial intelligence solutions such as automated financial reporting, predictive analytics and intelligent customer interaction while maintaining governance, security and cost control, as highlighted in the official coverage. Bahrain National Bank Loyale introduced its application that gathers loyalty points from multiple retail stores into a single, user friendly rewards experience.

After the founders pitched and received feedback from the judges, Servable secured first place with Loyale taking second. On this occasion, Mohamed Al Derazi from Servable said: “We are proud to have secured first place in the Startup Bahrain Pitch, a leading platform that embraces innovators and supports emerging projects. This victory marks a turning point in our journey, as it provides support that strengthens our ambitions and brings us closer to achieving our future goals.”

From the loyalty side, S. Ahmed Al Marzooq from Loyale added: “Taking part in Startup Pitch gave us the opportunity to present our project to a distinguished panel of experts and investors and opened new channels of communication with other entrepreneurs. We extend our gratitude to Tamkeen, the panel of judges and the partners for their continued support in strengthening this event’s position as a starting point for innovators.”

The results come at a time when Bahrain is doubling down on both digital innovation and private sector competitiveness. Tamkeen’s recent support for Bahraini companies at global platforms such as Big 5 Global 2025 in Dubai highlights how the fund links local enterprises with international markets while staying aligned with its 2025 strategic priorities to enhance the position of Bahrainis in the private sector and drive enterprise growth. Tamkeen’s broader strategy, published in its 2025 annual plan, targets support for tens of thousands of Bahrainis through employment, training and enterprise programs.

These wins also reflect Bahrain’s ambition to be a regional hub for artificial intelligence and digital services. The Kingdom’s AI readiness assessment, published in November 2025 in the AI RAM report, highlights strengths in digital government and data infrastructure and frames AI driven innovation as a key driver of future growth for both the public and private sectors. At the same time, the Bahrain Economic Development Board continues to attract significant investment into sectors such as financial services, ICT and digital infrastructure, most recently highlighting over seventeen billion United States dollars worth of announcements and deals at Gateway Gulf 2025

For founders watching from the sidelines, the message is clear. The ecosystem is actively looking for ambitious teams who combine technology, customer insight and strong governance. The next practical step is to track upcoming cycles of StartUp Bahrain Pitch and related Tamkeen backed programs, connect with ecosystem partners such as the Bahrain Economic Development Board, and begin refining a pitch that speaks to both Bahrain’s local market and the wider region.
