Tamkeen onboards DOO to the Digital Enablement Program for Bahrain’s SMEs
Oct 16, 2025

The Labour Fund Tamkeen has approved DOO as a service provider under the Digital Enablement Program, expanding Bahrain’s toolkit for SMEs that want practical AI for customer engagement. The program supports digital adoption across the Kingdom through curated providers and a self-selection track, giving enterprises a faster route to deploy automation that lifts service quality and sales.
Tamkeen’s program architecture features two tracks that either connect businesses to partnered providers or allow them to choose their own, as detailed in the program overview. With DOO onboard, Bahraini enterprises can access four core services under Track One: an AI-Powered Virtual Assistant, a CRM AI Chatbot, an AI Marketing Tool, and Predictive AI Analytics. These tools extend to channels like WhatsApp and Instagram and can be tailored to an enterprise’s brand identity to reduce costs and improve response speed.
Commenting on the partnership, Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen, said, “We’re proud to add a leading Bahraini company to our network of approved providers under the Digital Enablement Program. Having followed their journey from inception to growth, it is truly rewarding to now count them among our valued partners.”

Husain Haji, Chief Growth Officer at DOO, added, “At DOO, our goal has always been simple, to help businesses connect better with their customers through smart technology that speaks their language. Being onboarded by Tamkeen under the Digital Enablement Program means we can now empower even more Bahraini enterprises to grow, digitize, and deliver stronger customer experiences using AI. It’s an exciting step for us, and a proud one for Bahrain’s tech ecosystem.”
DOO’s momentum has picked up in recent weeks, with media confirming a US$1.7 million funding round led by regional investors to scale Arabic AI customer support across WhatsApp, Instagram, websites, and apps. That capital raised underlines demand for enterprise-grade tools that handle Gulf dialects and deliver measurable improvements in response time and conversion.
The Digital Enablement Program lowers friction for SMEs to adopt AI without long procurement cycles, while a Bahraini provider like DOO brings language fit and local support. For teams in retail, F&B, logistics, or services, the near-term gains are clear: automate FAQs and order tracking, capture leads inside chat flows, and feed predictive analytics back into marketing and staffing plans.
Next step. Shortlist use cases, then apply through Tamkeen’s program page to access DOO under Track One. If you already run high-volume messaging, review DOO’s latest capabilities alongside the funding coverage to scope a 4–6 week pilot that proves faster replies, lower cost per ticket, and higher repeat purchase.
