Zain Great Idea mentorship night brings founders face to face with finance and fundraising experts
Oct 1, 2025

Zain Bahrain’s flagship startup program Zain Great Idea hosted a mentorship session focused on finance and fundraising as part of its ongoing Bootcamp workshops, bringing successful founders and industry leaders together to guide early-stage teams.
The session convened mentors from Impactique, Tamkeen, Bahrain Airport Company, Tenmou, and Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, who shared practical insights from their journeys and advised founders on structuring rounds, building investor trust, and preparing data rooms.
Zain Great Idea is designed to accelerate the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by combining expert mentorship, workshops, and regional exposure. Founders can explore the program’s track record and cohort activities on the Zain Great Idea website and through Zain Group’s program updates.

What founders gained
Targeted guidance on fundraising strategy, from early traction narratives to investor outreach.
Practical lessons on cap tables, term sheets, and governance standards that regional VCs expect.
Direct connections to ecosystem enablers across Bahrain’s support network, including Tamkeen for talent and program support and Tenmou for angel syndication.
The mentorship night continues Zain Bahrain’s efforts to equip founders with tools to scale responsibly, complementing broader ecosystem initiatives and public-sector support that make Bahrain a capital-efficient place to build.
