On the off chance that you haven’t noticed, Bahrain is quite on a roll when it comes to hosting mega-events dedicated to the region’s thriving startup ecosystem. And we are barely past the first quarter of 2019.

After grand success with blockbuster events like StartUp Bahrain Week, Pitch@Palace Bahrain, and Global Entrepreneurship Congress, among many others, the Kingdom is now preparing to host InsurByte Conference 2019 this June.

To be hosted by Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB), the event enjoys the patronage of the Kingdom’s banking authority, the Central Bank of Bahrain. It will take place under the theme of “Reimagining Insurance” on June 12 and 13 at the Gulf Convention Center.

InsurByte 2019 has already bagged a bunch of strategic partners including heavyweights like the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) and the Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA). The primary objective of the event is to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and ideas among all stakeholders in the InsurTech industry.

Additionally, the conference will also aim at fostering synergies among market players so they can explore new and innovative solutions to the challenges affecting the InsurTech industry.

Among the key activities during the two-day event will be keynote speeches by eminent industry experts, fireside chats, panel discussions, networking sessions, hands-on workshops, and insightful case studies from major stakeholders in the InsurTech sector.

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Abdul Ghani Al Shaikh, Director of BIBF, said: “InsurByte will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for community leaders and companies to build awareness of the digital innovation and disruption in the insurance industry.”

BIA General Manager, Mr. Abdulhameed Al Ammadi, added: “In the Insurance sector, the milestone achieved in technology has certainly played a big role and changed the way the business is conducted. Without a shred of a doubt, the recent FinTech and Blockchain advancement will play an even bigger role in the future of the industry. This conference has set out the grounds on what to expect to help build awareness in the sector.”

Now here’s the exciting bit for those of you looking to attend the event. Early Bird Registrations for InsurByte Conference 2019 are open till Apr 25 at much lower rates.
