Ten female-led startups have officially joined the sixth cohort of the Futuremakers Women in Tech Bahrain programme—an initiative by Standard Chartered in partnership with Bahrain FinTech Bay. With this new cohort, the programme continues to amplify the role of women entrepreneurs in shaping Bahrain’s innovation-driven future.
Supported by Tamkeen, the Supreme Council for Women, UNIDO ITPO Bahrain, and Innovate for Bahrain, the Women in Tech initiative focuses on empowering female founders with the knowledge, network, and tools they need to scale their ventures. The selected startups span a wide spectrum of industries, from healthtech to agritech, and fintech to e-learning—underscoring the diversity and ambition of Bahrain’s growing startup landscape.
Chosen through a competitive process, the ten selected ventures are:

Over the next eight weeks, these founders will participate in a hands-on acceleration experience including workshops, one-on-one mentorship, pitch coaching, and peer collaboration. The journey culminates in a Demo Day, where the top three startups will win financial awards and co-working space access.
Since launching in 2020, the programme has supported more than 51 women-led startups and distributed over $310,000 in funding—cementing its role as one of Bahrain’s most impactful gender-focused startup programmes.
Applications for the next cohort will open soon—stay tuned.
