Intelak, the first industry-focused incubator in the UAE, has delivered its fourth cohort of graduates comprising four startups: Airspace, 16Trips, UIQT Inc., and Travezy.
All four startups in the first cohort brought along innovative business concepts in the fields of aviation, travel, and tourism and were provided with tailored mentoring. They were put through multiple rounds of stringent assessment and tremendous competition at every stage. But now that these four startups have successfully navigated all those challenges, they will now receive AED 50,000 in seed funding along with a 60-day intensive mentoring program with leading industry at the famed Dubai Technology & Entrepreneurship Center (DTEC).
With the graduation of these four startups, Intelak has further solidified its position as one of the key supporters of the UAE’s ambitions of evolving into a hotbed for startup and entrepreneurial success. Intelak’s ultimate objective is to build and nurture a homegrown innovative ecosystem capable of disrupting the aviation, tourism, and travel sectors in the UAE.
Startups that graduate Intelak’s intensive incubator find themselves in an ideal position to utilize the insights they gained throughout the program to improve and fine-tune their business concepts and investor pitches.
The winners of the fourth cohort successfully completed the program only after presenting their pitches to a high-profile team of stakeholders from the principal partners of the program, as well as past participants and alumni of Intelak.
