The company has promised that it will introduce its new Visa Developer platform at the tech conference kicked off on Oct 14, 2018. As the largest startup event in the Middle East and Africa, there’s hardly anything surprising that it was picked as Visa’s event of choice to demonstrate the new platform. Additionally, the company also plans on showcasing its regional programs carried out in collaboration with FinTech firms in the regions.

The Visa booth at the event will feature Qpal COO, Mohammed Aideed. For the uninitiated, Qpal won the MENA chapter of the Visa Everywhere Initiative, a program launched by Visa to facilitate ground-breaking innovations in the realm of financial technology. This marks an important opportunity for the Dubai startup to demonstrate its trademark POS and mobile wallet solutions aimed at expediting the payment process while buying food and beverages at events.
