Abu Dhabi’s thriving tech ecosystem, Hub71, has announced the induction of 25 new startups into its 14th cohort, marking a significant milestone in the region’s journey towards tech innovation and entrepreneurship. These startups, carefully selected from a pool of over 1200 applications, will join Hub71’s esteemed ‘Access’ program, along with the specialized ecosystems Hub71+ Digital Assets and Hub71+ ClimateTech, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global tech hub.
With a collective funding of over USD 122 million, these startups bring a wealth of innovation and potential to the table, with an average fundraising of USD 5 million per startup. Notably, more than 65% of the applications received were from international markets, underscoring Abu Dhabi’s growing global appeal as a tech destination.
Operating across nine diverse sectors, including FinTech, ClimateTech, and HealthTech, these startups are poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Abu Dhabi’s economy. Five startups will join Hub71+ ClimateTech, focusing on technologies for decarbonization and achieving a net-zero future. Among them, Canadian-based Basetwo and Swedish startup Graphmatech are leading the charge with their innovative solutions.
Similarly, Hub71+ Digital Assets, aimed at driving the growth of Web3 and digital assets, saw nine new startups join its ranks, including European crypto brokerage Bit2Me and payment solution provider Immersve.
