AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has announced a series of panel discussions and workshops as part of its “Watheq” program, launched with the support of the National Bank of Bahrain and in collaboration with over 10 entities.
As part of the program, the team members organized an inspiring session, led by Mr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Seyadi, Chief Executive Officer of Credimax Bahrain, who met with the young participants where he encouraged them to pursue knowledge and strive to raise the national flag with pride.
During the month of August, Ms. Dana Al Buarki, Chief of Design and Development of Learning Solutions at the Institute of Public Administration, conducted a panel discussion on writing university research reports. She was joined by Dr. Khawla Fouad Ali, Consultant Endocrinologist and Senior Honorary Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – University of Bahrain Medical School.
Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: “We are pleased with the success of the ‘Watheq’ program, which has instilled vital practical and theoretical skills to over 60 participants. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the inspirational figures who shared their expertise and helped in guiding and mentoring the young participants.”
“Watheq” aims to develop self-discipline and independence amongst its participants – between the ages of 16 to 18 – to meet various challenges at their undergraduate level including: choosing the right major, applying to universities, meeting requirements, as well as enhancing their personal skills.
Built on a solid foundation, the “Watheq” program features certified workshops on personal development and motivation, honing essential skills, introducing university disciplines, and exploring career paths. Participants receive accredited certificates that help in developing their academic and personal skills, enabling them to confidently begin their university life.
