In an exciting collaboration, the American University of Bahrain (AUBH) and AIESEC Society recently formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enrich youth development initiatives, focusing on the advancement of AUBH students. A signing ceremony held at AUBH, attended by AIESEC Chairman Omar Ayoob and AUBH President Dr. Bradley J. Cook, marked the beginning of an impactful partnership.

The agreement paves the way for AIESEC Society to engage AUBH students through a range of programs, including internships, exchange opportunities, and executive leadership development initiatives. Omar Ayoob, Chairman of AIESEC, stated “AUBH is one of the leading educational institutions in the Kingdom and they operate with the highest international standards. We are immensely proud to be associated with such a reputable university and we look forward to the mutual benefits and initiatives.”

AUBH Chief Operating Officer, William D. Hurt, expressed “We are honored to sign this MOU with AIESEC Society. Our collaboration will provide practical educational and professional experiences for our students, supporting our mission to graduate individuals who are employment-ready both locally and internationally.”

Additionally, AIESEC President Hussain AlMosawi stressed the critical role of the partnership in nurturing young leaders by saying that “Believing in youth & growing their leadership potential is the priority of AIESEC in Bahrain. Our collaboration with AUBH is crucial in amplifying our impact & reaching young people.”

Through this initiative, both organizations aim to nurture the soft skills and leadership potential of the students, aligning with the country’s developmental objectives and educational aspirations.
