CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) introduces the Amazon Web Services (AWS) & CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, a program aiming to support early-stage cybersecurity startups in the EMEA region. This accelerator, a part of the AWS Startup Loft Accelerator (SLA) program, is designed to provide these startups with tailored mentorship, technical expertise, and potential funding opportunities through the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund, a strategic investment initiative.
Selected startups will benefit from a 10-week program that includes personalized guidance from AWS Cybersecurity and CrowdStrike experts. Additionally, they will gain access to prominent investors within the global cybersecurity industry, participate in knowledge-enhancing sessions, and receive up to $25,000 in AWS Activate credits, among other exclusive perks.
As the program concludes, participants will have the chance to showcase their innovations at an in-person Demo Day in San Francisco, scheduled during the RSA Conference in May 2024. Exceptional presentations could potentially secure funding from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund, which counts renowned AWS Partners like Abnormal, Cribl, Dig Security, Vanta, and Talon Security among its portfolio companies.
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, underlined the significance of this initiative, stating, “With the creation of the AWS& CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, we are combining the tech expertise of two of the most reputable names in the industry to share best practices and business-critical resources for the next-generation of cybersecurity innovators building on AWS and the Falcon platform.”
Chris Grusz, Managing Director of Technology Partnerships at AWS, emphasized that the cybersecurity accelerator equips founders with innovative tools, saying, “Security has been a top priority for AWS since day one and we are delighted to work with CrowdStrike to support the next generation of startups set to disrupt the global cybersecurity ecosystem. The program also focuses on four essential pillars: Technology, Product, Go-to-market, and Funding, all geared toward bolstering startup success in their initial stages.
