Badir Program for Technology Incubators and Accelerators has been named the “Best Startup Technology Incubator & Accelerator in Saudi Arabia– 2018” by the United Kingdom-based Global Brands Magazine (GBM).

GBM says its decision was based on the impressive performance delivered by Badir when it comes to adding value to the region’s startup ecosystem and helping emerging businesses achieve the highest standards of innovation and performance.

The jury took various factors into account while declaring Badir the winner, including creativity, innovation, growth performance indicators, organizational excellence, and social responsibility, to name a few.

Nawaf Al-Sahhaf, CEO of Badir Program, reacted to the news “The awards come in recognition of performance and the program’s plan to develop and support tech entrepreneurship and incubators throughout the Kingdom. We are happy to win these awards and to continue playing an active role in providing the right environment for the growth of technology startups. I thank all members of the Badir Program across the Kingdom who have contributed to our outstanding success.”

Launched in 2007, Badir is an initiative of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology that aims to promote and encourage the growth of technology-driven startup across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the government, private sector organizations, and universities.
