Bahrain Bourse has confirmed its role as a co-partner in the forthcoming second edition of the E-Payments and Online Banking Summit, to be held in Bahrain.
The two-day Summit will kick off on March 11 at the Ritz Carlton, Seef District and will host leading banks and organizations from all over the world including the likes of CitiBank, Lloyds Banking Group, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, Credit Suisse, and Abu Dhabi Global Bank (ADGM), just to name a few.
Overall, the event will draw more than 400 senior officials from leading banking, e-commerce, retail, FinTech, and telecom enterprises. Together, they will discuss challenges, brainstorm ideas, and share insights into a range of topics including how to boost e-payment infrastructures globally, cybersecurity, e-payment regulations, technical innovations in the realm of financial technologies, and so on.
Commenting on the steady growth of the region’s e-payment industry and the significance of events like the E-Payments and Online Banking Summit, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse said: “The e-payment industry is growing in Bahrain and we have seen major achievements made to establish safe and efficient payments and securities.”
He added: “The 2nd E-Payments and Online Banking Summit will be a unique opportunity for financial leaders across the GCC to share their current digital transformation plans and learn and stay in line with the developments that are taking place in the region.”
Organized by London-based EastMen Limited, the E-Payments and Online Banking Summit is taking place in Bahrain for the second consecutive year.
