The University of Bahrain (UoB) is set to host the sixth edition of the Youth Forum for Entrepreneurship, “MicroShabab,” from October 1-3, 2024. This much-anticipated event, organized by the Future Youth Association, will take place at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall on the UoB Sakhir campus. The forum is held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid emphasized that MicroShabab reflects Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among its youth. He noted that the forum serves as a vital platform for fostering innovation and strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of Bahraini youth, which is crucial for creating a dynamic and creative environment that supports sustainable development and job creation.
The forum is expected to attract young entrepreneurs from across the Kingdom, offering them opportunities to network, gain insights from industry leaders, and showcase their innovative ideas. His Highness also acknowledged the organizers and sponsors for their continued dedication to empowering Bahrain’s youth, aligning with the Wise Leadership’s vision of involving young people in shaping the future of the nation.
