The Bahrain Islamic Bank(BisB), the first banking institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain, honored a batch of employees who completed a series of training programs in 2017. There was a graduation ceremony organized for the employees who successfully became a part of this training program that focused on enhancing soft skills like financial knowledge, leadership, and management.
Under the support of Tamkeen Labour Fund and in cooperation with EMIC Training and AMPOWERED Training, the celebration was attended by bank officials and various distinguished guests from the office of Ministry of Labour and Social Development and Tamkeen. The event was conducted under the patronage of His Excellency, the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan.
The celebration ceremony commenced with the performance of select few verses from the Holy Quran. After that, Hassan Jarrar, CEO of BisB spoke about the bank’s accomplishments and expressed satisfaction over the training programs.
General Manager of EMIC Training, Mr. Mohamed Matar talked about his company’s contribution to the implementation of these select training programs. He emphasized the relevance of such training sessions that work on enhancing employee skills and abilities.
The Minister of Labour and Social Development, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan also spoke at length about the importance of these training sessions for bank employees and how such programs contribute to the development of the nation as a whole. He further praised the staff for their learning and perseverance and stressed on government’s interest in developing the workforce.
Mr. Jarrar initiated the closing ceremony with a string of positive notes thanking the government, partners and praising the employees who completed this training with great results.
