Bahrain National Holding (BNH) has selected TCS Bancs for Insurance, a solution from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), as part of a large-scale digital transformation initiative.

BNH, formed through the merger of Bahrain Insurance Company and National Insurance Company, offers a diverse range of insurance products for businesses and individuals. Now, the company is overhauling its technology infrastructure to better serve its next-generation customers.

The new system will streamline operations across BNH’s branches in Bahrain, integrating key functions such as underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, agency and commission management, product development, security, accounting, and reinsurance. It will support non-life, health, and life insurance services.

According to Sameer AlWazzan, CEO of BNH, the adoption of TCS Bancs will enable the company to merge multiple business lines, accelerate product development, and enhance operational efficiency. He emphasized that this move will also simplify regulatory processes and drive digital adoption.

BNH’s portfolio includes Bahrain National Life Assurance Company (specializing in life and medical insurance), Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company in Saudi Arabia, and several Bahrain-based subsidiaries such as United Insurance Company, Al Kindi Specialised Hospital, and National Finance House.
