Bahrain-based Tarabut Gateway, the FinTech startup that prides itself as the largest open banking platform in MENA, has added another feat to its list of achievements. The startup announced earlier this week that it has been shortlisted to be a part of Hub71, the leading global tech ecosystem located in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Tarabut is one of the five global startups to have been shortlisted, the other four being Scanalytics Inc., Jade Autism, AirCarbon Pte. Ltd., and Kamkalima.
And just like that, Tarabut now has a second home in Abu Dhabi, which is expected to help the company further its footprint in the UAE.
“After the remarkable progress, we’ve made with #OpenBanking in #Bahrain and the wider region, we’re happy to announce that we’ll now be entering the #UAE. We can’t wait to extend our products and to work closely with financial institutions in supporting what will become the future of #banking,” Abdulla Almoayyed, Founder and CEO of Tarabut, stated in a media brief.
The company has also appealed banks in the UAE and professionals interested in pursuing a career in open banking to get in touch with Tarabut over here.
