Barely a couple of months after launching its services across the GCC, Bahrain-based telemedicine startup, Doctori, has announced yet another major initiative. The startup is working on the biggest-ever telemedicine collaboration in Bahrain.
As part of this initiative, Doctori will provide Batelco employees, along with the telecom giant’s more than 400,000 customers, with a discounted telemedicine rate.
In fact, the discount is as high as 90%, meaning all beneficiaries of this new scheme are now privy to a quicker, much more convenient, and affordable access to quality healthcare.
All Batelco users and customers will be provided with a promo code that they can use to have an online consultation with a doctor. The promo code will remain valid for two months and it can be used to fix appointments with more than 160 medical practitioners across 30 specialties.
Worth noting here is that even before this discount offer, Doctori was charging only BHD 5 per consultation, which made one of the most affordable and secure alternatives to in-person doctor visits not just in Bahrain, but across the broader region.
