Bahrain’s premier private business club Capital Club Bahrain is rolling out its maiden FinTech series in mid-Feb in collaboration with Andra Public Relations & Corporate Communications. The series will be aimed at demonstrating the value the region’s FinTech corporates and startups add to the economy.
Additionally, the initiative will also highlight Bahrain’s growing stature as one of the world’s most FinTech investment friendly markets.
The FinTech Series will provide a platform for FinTech enterprises and entrepreneurs to share their stories, bring attention to pressing issues, and brainstorm over the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead of the industry.
The new monthly event will focus particularly on still nascent, yet highly promising financial technologies such as blockchain, next-generation payment technologies, and new innovations in the regtech sector, just to name a few.
Expressing his thoughts on the new initiative, Sumeet Jhingan, General Manager Capital Club Bahrain, said: “As a Premiere Private Business Club, we act as a catalyst in connecting businesses and take pride in collaborating with companies and institutions which encourage innovation and technology in various business sectors. The association with Andra will give a platform to fintech companies and startups to connect and exchange ideas in a more business conducive ambiance.”
To amplify the reach and impact of the FinTech Series, Capital Club Bahrain will adequately document each monthly event and make them accessible to everyone. Among other perks, this will also yield in a compilation of insights and learning tools for up-and-coming FinTech entrepreneurs and enthusiasts.
“These series will be intimate and engaging sessions to showcase innovation within the Fintech ecosystem, and we will document these series making them available to everyone. The goal is to encourage innovation, openness, and collaboration in the Fintech space,” said Fatema Ebrahim, Founder of Andra PR.
