The Central Bank of Bahrain has opened applications for GP15, a new graduate development program aimed at preparing Bahraini talent for careers in financial services, and it’s a timely boost for early-career jobseekers.

GP15 is the Central Bank’s first graduate development program and will select fifteen participants through a two-stage process that includes an aptitude test and interviews. The initiative targets Bahrainis who earned a bachelor’s degree—locally or abroad—within the past two years and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.25. Successful candidates will join a six-month, paid internship rotating across CBB departments, blending on-the-job exposure with practical simulations, workshops, and site visits designed to strengthen analytical skills, financial literacy, and an understanding of banking strategy. For new graduates, that combination matters: it shortens the learning curve, builds confidence in a regulated environment, and connects classroom knowledge to day-to-day work.

The program also aligns with the CBB’s wider focus on innovation and digital transformation. For employers, that means a pipeline of entry-level hires who have learned how policy, supervision, and technology intersect. For graduates, it’s a chance to test interests in areas like supervision, payments, data, or policy, while developing a network inside Bahrain’s financial ecosystem. Applications are open from 14 to 31 August via the CBB GP15 page, where eligibility and submission details are listed.

“We encourage ambitious Bahraini graduates to take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop their careers in the financial services sector. This program reflects the CBB’s dedication to investing in national talent and preparing future leaders who will drive industry growth and innovation.”

Apply by 31st August 2025, details and registration on the CBB GP15 page.
