Cohire, a tech-enabled recruitment platform built to revolutionize how companies leverage referrals, has officially emerged as a standalone entity following its spinout from Spring Studios. This strategic move marks a pivotal moment for the startup as it gears up to expand its operations and accelerate product innovation across the MENA region.

Launched by Peter White in partnership with Spring Studios, Cohire operates out of Dubai and Bahrain—two strategic hubs that position the company to support a wide range of organizations, from emerging startups to large-scale enterprises.

Cohire’s platform reimagines employee and community referrals by transforming them into a structured, scalable, and data-driven hiring solution. By enabling companies to gather referrals from both internal teams and trusted external networks, including a curated pool of industry professionals, Cohire delivers highly targeted and qualified candidates—streamlining the recruitment process while reducing costs.

“Referral hiring has long been one of the most effective sources of talent, yet it remains underutilized due to a lack of structure,” said Peter White, Founder and CEO of Cohire. “With Cohire, we’re building the infrastructure that helps organizations fully harness the power of referrals—making the process efficient, measurable, and scalable.”

With its dual footprint in Dubai and Bahrain, Cohire is uniquely positioned to serve the region’s evolving talent needs. The company now plans to grow its team, enhance platform capabilities, and deepen its footprint across major recruitment markets in the Middle East and North Africa.

Zainab Khamis, Head of Spring Studios, praised the move: “Cohire is addressing a real gap in the hiring space by creating a system that brings structure and scale to referral-based recruitment. Their solution offers a genuine competitive edge for businesses looking to build stronger teams through trusted networks.”

In addition to improving the quality and speed of hires, Cohire’s model fosters deeper employee involvement by turning team members into key players in the hiring process. The company is actively seeking partnerships with organizations that share its vision of making trust-driven, relationship-based recruitment a central strategy in talent acquisition.
