UAE-based social enterprise Consult and Coach for a Cause (C3) has struck a deal with HSBC to make its flagship C3 Social Impact Accelerator program bigger and better than ever.
C3 has been one of the leading social enterprises focused on helping out Middle Eastern startups to attain their full potential. Additionally, the organization is also known for its efforts to ensure that the startups under its wings can leave a positive impact on the community.
Simply put, the primary objective of the C3 Social Impact Accelerator program is to empower entrepreneurs by giving them financial stability, while simultaneously helping them to find solutions to major social challenges.
The forthcoming edition of the program will consider 100 applications from Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, and the UAE. Out of these, only 20 applicants will be shortlisted to participate in the week-long program, scheduled to start in Feb 2019. All participants are mandatorily required to be a contributor to the UN Sustainable Development Goal (e.g. in the fields of education, health, etc.).
“We encourage all entrepreneurs to take advantage of this opportunity and showcase the work they are doing to create socially responsible businesses. We are so happy to be partnering with HSBC on what we consider is a one-of-a-kind impact accelerator program in the region,” said Medea Nocentini, Co-Founder of C3. Once selected, all shortlisted startups will qualify for the two-month program comprising a one-on-one support, as well as a week of training activities, workshops, and events.
