In case you haven’t heard about it yet, the Youth Business Voice series is an initiative by the Dubai Startup Hub that aims to provide youngsters with guidance and practical knowledge as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
The latest rendition of the event recently kicked off with an interactive workshop at Dubai’s Youth Hub. It focused on providing participants with the necessary tips for starting and managing a business in the UAE.
The recent session saw expert panelists participating in discussions centered around the challenges startups and emerging entrepreneurs in the region typically have to face. These include company formation, intellectual property laws, and drafting agreements.
The experts in the panel discussions included representatives from various renowned entities such as Legal Advice Middle East, Clyde & Co, Hoda Barakat Legal Consultancy, and others. The attendees were encouraged to ask their legal questions to the experts in an open discussion.
Essa Al Zaabi, Senior Vice President of Institutional Support Sector at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the core motive behind the event is to bring an ideal platform for young participants who are keen on starting their own business while expanding their knowledge and developing entrepreneurial skills.
He further revealed that the Series will soon see more workshops and other similar events designed to help the youth with their startup ambitions in the coming days.
For the uninitiated, the Dubai Startup Hub happens to be an extension of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was launched in 2016 to serve as an interactive platform where entrepreneurs, startups, venture capitalists, developers, and students can get together and create partnerships, learn about new business opportunities, and help stimulate economic growth of the region.
