Startup Reactor is a six-month accelerator program designed to provide all necessary support to innovative startups in Egypt with high growth potential.
The program serves as a gateway for connecting investors and mentors with the country’s entrepreneurs. All mentors and investors who participate in the program are given an equity stake in the ventures they choose to support.
40 startups will be selected for the Bootcamp stage, known as Ignition, and will receive training and mentorship. This will be further shortlisted as 15 of them will qualify for the next stage, under the name of Plasma.
During Plasma, the eligible startups will be provided with an intensive training program aimed at helping them craft a business model, brand identity, prototype, and a customer base.
Those companies that make it through the Plasma phase will receive the program’s full package, including access to the office space and other facilities, consultation services, support from an extensive professional network comprising of 200 business professionals, and legal registration. In addition to that, they will also be entitled to a pool of other supporting services in various disciplines such as HR, marketing, and accounting.
Not only that, the eligible startups will also be granted an equity fund along with the opportunity to partake in Startup Nova. During the Nova demo day, the selected participants will be given the chance to present their ideas and innovations in front of investors from across the world.
The top three startups will receive a cash prize of 15,000 Euros from VC4A, as well as future investment opportunities from Innoventures and VC4A investor network.
