Can you guess how much Arabnet, the online platform for entrepreneurs and digital professionals, is expecting in investment when the forthcoming AIM Startup event kicks off in April 2018?

Well, raise your hands if your answer is – more than a billion US dollars, cause that’s the correct number.

The next edition of AIM Startup is going to take place from April 8 to 11 at the Dubai World Trade Center under the theme of “Technology For Sustainable Development And Inclusive Growth”. So if you think your startup is based around that theme and if you have a complete business plan handy, hop on and participate in the event. There are many lucrative prizes to win in addition to all the opportunities you’ll get to network with venture capitalists, angel investors, mentors, industry leaders, and government officials.

An estimated 200 emerging businesses from across the Middle East are expected to participate in the event to demonstrate their products/services and innovations. The most promising startups will get a chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of eminent international experts and the audience. Among various other perks, winners will also receive a cash reward of $50,000.

“I’m thrilled to serve as a judge for the AIM Startup 2018 pitch competition. This is an incredible opportunity for startups to connect with business leaders, investors, and governments from all over the world. I can’t wait to see the presenting startups,” says Jake Zeller, Partner at AngelList, while discussing the significance of AIM Startup 2018.
