The international mail delivery and logistics services company Fetchr has teamed up skycart with the Dubai-based startup Eniverse Technologies to develop a pioneer autonomous drone delivery service in the UAE.
Skycart’s technology can accommodate different types of delivery, including 24/7 shipments in less than half an hour. Therefore, according to industry insiders, the new three-party collaboration will be a real game-changer in the e-commerce sector. It will significantly reduce the time between a purchase made and that of the delivery at your doorstep.
Earlier this year, Eniverse and the San Francisco-based Skycart already formed a JV to produce drones to deliver small packages across the Emirates. Fetchr would provide a state-of-the-art geolocation technology to ensure the successful delivery via a new independent channel. Eniverse will be the first company to implement the innovative method. This was confirmed by the founder and CEO of Eniverse Technologies, Mohammed Johmani. He also has stated that he believes in the potential of a long-term cooperation between the three parties, and their future growth.
Idriss Al Rifai, founder and CEO of Fetchr, has said that his company is a high-tech company at the core and the new partnership agreement will allow it to achieve its goal to provide fast and reliable world-class delivery services. Together with its new partners, Skycard and Eniverse Technologies, Fetchr will disrupt the delivery business worldwide, said Idriss. He also expressed his willingness to collaborate with the relevant authorities in the UAE for this venture.
