Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, has successfully concluded the Bidaya Program, an entrepreneurship training initiative designed to equip Bahraini founders with the knowledge, expertise, and resources to transform their ideas into investment-ready businesses.
To mark the program’s completion, Hope Ventures hosted its first-ever Demo Day, where 15 promising Bahraini entrepreneurs presented their business concepts to a room full of potential investors and business partners.
Nurturing Bahrain’s Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
The Bidaya Program attracted over 400 applicants, from which 40 high-caliber participants were selected to join an intensive bootcamp. During this phase, founders refined their ideas and pitched them to a selection committee, competing for a spot in the final round.
After rigorous evaluation, 15 outstanding participants advanced to the second and final phase, where they:
- Completed their business plans with expert guidance
- Prepared for equity investment pitches
- Presented their ventures to potential investors during Demo Day
Beyond the formal pitches, entrepreneurs also engaged in networking sessions, providing further insights into their growth strategies and investment potential.
