Insurance brokers interested in undergoing a digital transformation can now easily do so by using Aqeed’s new cloud-based suite, the company announced as it launched the new Aqeed Sales and Aqeed Brokers.
The UAE-based insur-tech firm says that these new tools will help insurance brokers achieve a heightened level of transparency. Not only that, but they will also have the backing of a sophisticated online platform to help them reach out to new customers and boost sales.
Simply put, Aqeed Sales is the insur-tech equivalent of Shopify. It empowers traditional insurance brokers to launch their own digital store to market and sell insurance schemes without the hassles of building a proprietary e-commerce platform from scratch.
“Insurance distribution in UAE, and in the region, is still sold primarily by traditional, offline insurance brokers, who are looking to become digital players. We saw an opportunity to enable insurance brokers to capture that opportunity in e-commerce without wasting time and money on developing their own solution and focus on what matters most – selling,” Hadi Radwan, CEO of Aqeed, commented following the launch of the new products.
To make the new offering a complete package, Aqeed has also introduced an easy-to-grasp backend tool. Dubbed Aqeed Brokers, this product will help brokers to verify documents, manage policy issuance, add new products, manage renewals, and update existing plans.
“We believe that an insurance broker should focus on sales and service, rather than manual administration and data entry. Our suite of products will help insurance brokers become administratively efficient, reaching their customers faster, better and cheaper,” Radwan added.
