All of you ME-based tech entrepreneurs who are always on the lookout for new opportunities to shine on a global platform, Kryptos Labs has brought you yet another chance to turn that wish into reality. The global technology startup incubator announced that it is going to kick off the Ed Tech Innovations Startup Contest 2018 on Aug 15, 2018.
The contest is open for talented students, innovators, and businesses from all around the world so long as they meet a couple of qualifying criteria. Which are:
- The applicant’s project must have Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its forefront
- The innovation mentioned in the application must be either disruptive to or supplement the existing education ecosystem and settings.
The participant with the best performance will be awarded the title of “Entrepreneurial Hero” in addition to $150,000 in funding. Other participants from each of the six categories will be awarded $20,000 each.
The six categories include Universal Access to Classrooms, Lifelong Learning Applications, Data Applications, Behavioral Analytics Application, Supplemental Applications, and Curriculum Applications. “Our world is changing at a rapid pace, and it is our duty to adapt to all the changes occurring in our current time, education continues to be a valuable and crucial asset to our evolvement as a species,” said Managing Director of Krypto Labs, Dr. Saleh Al Hashemi, while explaining the primary purpose of launching the Ed Tech Innovations Startup Contest.
He added: “I believe that this contest, along with other incredible contests created by Krypto Labs, will set the wheels in motion for the movement that will help keep us abreast with the changes in the world around us.”
