The second edition of LEAP – Saudi Arabia’s major technology event is returning to Riyadh from 6 to 9 February 2023 at Riyadh Front Expo Centre, Saudi Arabia, under the theme “Into New Worlds”. This technology platform is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and contributes to boosting the Kingdom’s technology position and its digital regional and global leadership.
The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) stated that more than 20 Bahraini ICT companies have confirmed their participation in BAHRAIN HUB at LEAP. Companies that are joining the Bahrain Hub are Etisalcom, Al Amthal for Consultancy and Software Co., Almoayyed Computers, VirtuThinko, Bin Hindi Informatics, Silah Gulf, Spire Technologies, Aramis, Ahlan Technologies, Qemat Al Marifah Kanoo IT, ThinkSmart Gulf, Luminous Group, Via Cloud, SMS Country, CoinMena, Syskode and Ordable, and more that will showcase their innovations and their services in the global tech show.
According to the Chairman of BTECH, Mr. Tareq Fakhroo, these Bahraini companies will participate in the LEAP exhibition alongside more than 900 international and local companies, in addition to more than 400 ICT startups.
“It is expected that Bahraini ICT companies’ presence at LEAP will have a good impact on Bahrain’s technical industry, accelerate the process of digital transformation, and boost the adoption of cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, this helps to build a knowledge economy faster and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a leader in this domain.”
Mr. Fakhroo added that BTECH is facilitating Bahraini ICT companies’ participation in “LEAP” within the goal of assisting these companies in growing and expanding by entering into partnerships and agreements and acquiring new job opportunities. In addition to developing its business model by learning about the latest technologies and applications in the field.
“We believe that Bahraini information and communication technology companies’ presence at the “LEAP” exhibition is an exceptional opportunity for them to achieve these objectives.” Mr. Fakhroo affirmed.
Mr. Fakhroo stressed that being present at the LEAP conference will allow Bahraini companies to learn about the latest innovations across a variety of industries, which will contribute to the growth of Bahrain’s ICT sector. This includes artificial intelligence and digital transformation, FinTech, smart cities, health technologies, Industry 4.0, clean technology, and retail trade, in addition to many other topics such as the future of energy and educational technologies.
