The 2020 rendition of STEP Anywhere, an online tech festival for emerging markets, has kicked off today. The event, now in its ninth year, is widely celebrated as the largest tech festival in Dubai.
The three-day event will include one main stage and three separate themed-tracks dedicated to content, workshops, and programming. Together, these tracks will cover a wide range of topics including startup growth strategies, digital media, FinTech, and future tech, to wellness, lifestyle, and entertainment.
The virtual event also includes an exhibition and networking event that will see industry stakeholders connecting with one another, gathering leads, finding new talents, or even forging new alliances.
Two eminent members from the Bahraini startup ecosystem will also be representing the Kingdom in the event. These include Yasin Aboudaoud, Chief Development Officer of Brinc and Managing Partner of Brinc MENA, as well as Abdulla Almoayyed, Founder & CEO of Tarabut Gateway.
The Brinc CDO will play the role of a session host focused on FoodTech, AgriTech, and Sustainability. Abdulla Almoayyed, meanwhile, will join the #STEPAnywhere2020’s lineup as a guest speaker.
Other speakers participating the event include the likes of Allen Blue (LinkedIn), Kat Cole (Focus Brands), Christine Tsai (500 Startups), Ali Abulhasan (Tap Payments), and Alice Nawfal (Noebene Inc), just to name a few.
