At LEAP 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, PROCODE—a rising platform shaping the next generation of esports athletes, creators, and coaches—announced it has secured a strategic angel investment. This major milestone comes as the MENA gaming industry continues its rapid ascent, with forecasts projecting a $10 billion market by 2030.

LEAP 2025, one of the world’s most influential tech gatherings, draws global innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors to the heart of Riyadh each year. PROCODE’s presence at this year’s event was part of Bahrain’s national pavilion, organized by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” and the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), showcasing 14 forward-thinking startups across the tech spectrum.

Investors backing PROCODE recognized its potential to lay down critical infrastructure for the region’s gaming ecosystem. With this funding, the company will kickstart its regional expansion—beginning with Saudi Arabia—and scale its offerings to meet growing demand across the Middle East and North Africa.

Tareq Fakhro, Chairman of BTECH, remarked, “PROCODE’s success in securing investment is a testament to the innovation emerging from Bahrain. It also signals investor confidence in our startups’ ability to shape global gaming trends. We look forward to seeing more Bahraini tech ventures reach international markets and solidify Bahrain’s role in digital transformation.”

PROCODE’s Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Mrs. Shahad Zaki, added, “This investment marks a pivotal chapter for PROCODE. It’s more than funding—it’s a vote of confidence in our mission to transform gaming in MENA. With this momentum, we’re poised to unlock new markets, expand our reach, and forge impactful partnerships across the region.”

Launched in 2024, PROCODE offers a pathway for passionate gamers to build professional careers. Through localized educational programs, hands-on coaching, expert mentorship, and competitive events, the platform turns casual players into esports professionals and content creators, all while cultivating a strong gaming community rooted in the region’s unique culture.
