Reboot Coding Institute (Reboot01), Bahrain’s leading coding school powered by the global 01Edu platform, recently hosted a media roundtable, highlighting its transformative approach to tech education and its role in shaping the region’s digital future.

The event featured an immersive campus tour, a review of 2024 milestones, student success stories, and a preview of plans for 2025. Launched in partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Reboot01 aligns with Bahrain’s strategic goals to enhance workforce competitiveness, promote digitization, and drive enterprise growth.

Its network of 20+ hiring partners, both local and international, facilitates direct employment pathways, attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and reinforcing Bahrain’s status as a regional tech hub.

Reboot01 graduates are already making waves in the tech industry, securing competitive salaries ranging from BD700 to BD1600 before graduation, further strengthening Bahrain’s digital economy.

Expanding opportunities with AI, FinTech & Cloud certifications

To meet growing industry demands, Reboot01 continues to expand its curriculum with in-demand specializations, including:

Java for Banking & Healthcare – A 6-month specialization with production-level projects
AI, Cybersecurity & Cloud DevOps – Short courses offering globally recognized certifications from AWS, Oracle, and Azure

Strengthening industry ties with global tech leaders

Reboot01’s partnership with Raincode, a Scandinavian software solutions provider, has led to the launch of Raincode’s developer hub in Bahrain, further positioning the Kingdom as a regional tech powerhouse. This collaboration enables Reboot01 graduates to work on high-impact global projects and secure specialized IT roles.

Expansion plans: Saudi market & beyond

Looking ahead to 2025, Reboot01 plans to expand beyond Bahrain with a strategic entry into Saudi Arabia, offering large-scale tech training programs to develop local talent. With continued support from Tamkeen, the institute is rolling out upskilling and reskilling initiatives to ensure Bahrain’s workforce remains future-proof in an evolving digital landscape.

As Reboot01 continues to bridge the education-to-industry gap, it plays a pivotal role in shaping the region’s tech sector, supporting sustainable development, and solidifying Bahrain’s position as a leading hub for innovation and digital transformation.
