Receiptable and Invo Technologies have partnered to bring digital receipt solutions to over 3,000 merchants in Bahrain, signaling a major shift in how local retailers engage with customers and reduce waste at checkout. The collaboration is expected to extend across the MENA region, impacting more than 8,000 merchants in total.

The agreement reflects Bahrain’s growing momentum as a launchpad for retail tech innovation. Invo Technologies, a homegrown leader in smart Point-of-Sale systems, will integrate Receiptable’s platform into its merchant network across restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores—making it easier than ever for businesses to replace paper receipts with sleek, interactive digital ones.

Receiptable, founded in 2023, allows customers to receive receipts directly on their phones at checkout. The system works with merchants’ existing hardware and enables more than just transactions—it opens a post-sale channel for engagement while cutting down on paper waste and operational costs.

“This partnership with Receiptable lets us offer our clients a seamless digital solution that’s efficient, eco-friendly, and built for modern retail,” said Ali Darwish, CEO of Invo.

Chris Purdie, CEO of Receiptable, added, “Together, we’re making it easy for any business to go paperless, save money, and open up a new way to connect with customers—without disrupting their existing in-store setup.”

The partnership reflects a shared vision to future-proof MENA’s retail sector—and puts Bahrain at the heart of the movement toward sustainable, tech-forward commerce.
