Dr. Janahi took the opportunity to emphasize on the importance of events like Bahrain Tech Award for encouraging Bahrain tech startups to develop unique and innovative solutions, products, and services that propel them into the same leagues as the world’s leading tech and innovation companies. Additionally, it also provides them invaluable insights into the international best practices and the impact of carefully calibrated marketing strategies, Dr. Janahi added.
The Tamkeen CEO also outlined how the event motivates up-and-coming businesses to dedicate a part of their resources and know-how to cater to the commercial and social needs of the homegrown technology market. Meanwhile, Esam Hadi, Chairman of the Bahrain Technology Award, commented on the success of the event by saying: “The award for the second edition proves its success in achieving its objectives. The award has highlighted many of Bahrain’s products and services in the field of information technology and highlighted Bahrain’s progress in this field.”
The five IT companies to have won the Bahrain Tech Award 2018 include CTM360, FAME, Syskode, Microcenter, and AlAmthal. Additionally, the event also saw five Bahraini companies including Nakheel, Nabdaa, Equalibria, TimecTechnologies, and Snapcomms being honored for their innovations and healthy growth.
