The Collective Hub, a prominent business incubator has announced a strategic partnership with the French Embassy in Bahrain. This collaboration aims to elevate Bahraini entrepreneurship through innovative training programs and support initiatives.
H.E. Mr. Eric Giraud-Telme, the French Ambassador to Bahrain, visited the Collective Hub’s headquarters at the Yateem Center complex in Manama. During his visit, he toured the incubator’s state-of-the-art facilities, which are designed to foster a productive environment for entrepreneurs and startups. Highlighting the visit, a significant partnership agreement was signed between the Collective Hub and the French Embassy. This agreement initiates a specialized training program in film and video photography, scheduled from July 18 to 29. The program, part of the “It’s All Things Media 2.0” initiative, includes grants provided by the Embassy to support members involved in the project. Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Kooheji, a Board Member at the Collective Hub, signed the agreement.
The collaboration kicked off with a filmmaking workshop that drew enthusiastic participants interested in digital marketing and filmmaking. The workshop covered essential topics such as screenwriting, directing, sound effects, editing, and promotional strategies, providing participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills. Attendees also learned about prominent international film awards, enhancing their understanding of the global film industry.
Mrs. Khawla Alshaikh, Director of the Collective Hub, emphasized the importance of this partnership. “The Collective Hub constantly seeks to provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to transform their ideas into sustainable and successful projects.” she said. Mrs. Alshaikh also elaborated on the “All Things Media 2.0” initiative, which focuses on developing Bahraini startups and creators in the media and creative industries. This initiative, launched in partnership with the Labour Fund “Tamkeen,” aims to provide high-level training, showcase talents, and offer networking opportunities with major investors both locally and internationally.
