Press Release.

Bahrain’s Biggest Student Savings App has officially launched with new and advanced features, and the promise of a smoother student experience. There has been a gap in the market that caters specifically to university students on our island, and Unipal bridges that gap. With the launch of their new application, students get access to 200+ student discounts with a single scan, along with countless student benefits.

Unipal’s discounts span across different categories – the App provides offers at restaurants, cafes, beauty & fitness spots, electronic stores and many more. To make it an even smoother experience, the student card is now 100% Digital. Students don’t need to carry around a physical ID, because Unipal’s Digital Student ID is with them wherever they go – all they need is their mobile phones.

Unipal believes that when students can stay connected on a platform, they enjoy using it even more. With that said, the new Unipal App introduces digital vouchers that students can gift to each other, sending rewards back and forth to friends on the platform.

Since the launch of its first app in 2020, Unipal has partnered up with over 200 merchants, providing countless offers and discounts to over 10,000 student users in Bahrain. The company has gone through several changes and upgrades to reach the stage its at today, and the goal is to only rise up from here.

Unipal was conceptualized and birthed from the realization that the student community in Bahrain is underprivileged and short of being supported. “For students to get the most out of their college years, they don’t only need the support of professors in the classroom. They need the support of the community outside the classroom, as well. In fact, they don’t only need it – they deserve it,” said Ali Alalawi, Unipal’s Managing Director, in a statement.

The new Unipal App is now available to download for free, on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store!
