There is a new healthcare website in the making that plans on serving as a vast library of medical and health articles for the common masses and medical practitioners. This initiative is the product of a newly established strategic partnership between editing and linguistic startup Ureed and Altibbi, a medical website.

As per their one-year agreement, both companies will collaborate to produce 12,000 articles by the end of this year, of which 2,000 have already been written.

The subject matter varies wildly and encompasses detailed information on pretty much all known health issues including tumours and benign tumours, eye illness, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, diseases affecting the digestive tract, endocrine diseases, gynaecological complications, skin diseases, and psychiatric ailments, just to name a few. Additionally, the site will also cover related-topics from the domains of health & beauty, and alternative medicines.

According to reports, more than 50 writers and editors are currently actively working on this project. Ureed’s specialized team, with support from Altibbi experts, ensures that a minimum of 150 – 200 articles are produced every week. “Through this project, Ureed aims at elevating the level of scientific and medical translation, boosting its credible content and providing adopted Arabic medical terms. Thus, we found Altibbi to be the ideal platform to start working towards these goals,” Said the CEO of Ureed, Nour Al Hassan.
