talabat, the region’s leading food delivery and q-commerce platform, has organized its first “t-Academy” event at its headquarters, with the participation of a number of restaurants and cafes operating under its application umbrella.
The initiative aims to foster the sustainable growth of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the food industry, reflecting talabat’s commitment to providing app users with an experience that meets their aspirations and organizational goals. The academy serves as a knowledge sharing platform where participants can gain mentorship opportunities and guidance for the future success of their businesses.
The meeting began with an introduction from the Managing Director of talabat, who highlighted the latest local trends in the industry. In a session with the Sales Operations Manager, participants also learnt various methods to achieve a boost in their orders, in addition to a presentation hosted by the Vendor Operations Manager showcasing the various support programs and opportunities provided by talabat, which aim to elevate their individual business ventures. The event concluded with an open discussion and Q&A session with the various restaurant owners.
On the occasion, Mr. Moaiad Aqel, Managing Director of talabat – Bahrain, commented: “We are pleased to have successfully hosted our first t-Academy event, which aims to support SMEs in the food industry while also building on their capabilities and the integral role they play in developing economic growth.”
