Zain Bahrain has announced a new partnership with Flat6Labs Bahrain, one of the leading startup accelerator programs in the Kingdom.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between the two entities will pave the way for a new collaboration on various new and existing projects. The objective of the partnership is to add more meat to Flat6Labs Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to boost the Kingdom’s homegrown startup ecosystem.
Per the MoU, Zain Bahrain will be the official telecom partner of all Flat6Labs events in Bahrain through the foreseeable future. In addition, Zain will also benefit from becoming a part of Flat6Labs Bahrain’s high-profile day events.
As for the startup accelerator, it will receive exclusive telecom services from Zain along with preferential packages, business enterprise packages, and SIM cards. Apart from that, the telecom giant will also officially join Flat6Labs Bahrain’s expert network of mentors.
Speaking on the new partnership, Zain Bahrain Director of Communication & Investor Relations, Sh. Abdulla Khaled Al-Khalifa said: “It is a matter of pride for Zain Bahrain to be able to contribute to the growth of the Bahraini people and to become the official telecom partner to Flat6Labs Bahrain.”

When StartUp Bahrain spoke to the Managing Director of Flat6Labs Bahrain, Ryaan Sharif he said: “We are pleased to have Zain onboard as our Telecom Partner as we commend their contributions to Bahrain’s startup ecosystem. We hope to see other corporations following Zain’s example as we look forward to working closely with Zain in supporting both our program and more importantly our startups.”
