Floward, Kuwait’s online flower platform has added the United Kingdom to its list of markets; being the first for the startup beyond the MENA Region, it’s their sixth globally.

Through Floward, users are able to purchase flowers that are procured from different parts of the world. Not only so, but they can also be bundled with many different gifts that include chocolates, cakes, and perfumes — all prepared by either in-house and/or well-known designers. To top it off, the startup uses its own delivery service to guarantee orders’ arrival on the same day for users.

It’s noteworthy to mention that the startup raised an investment of $2.7 million in October of 2020, led by Saudi’s Impact46.

Abdulaziz Al Loughani, CEO of Floward, has commented on the exciting London launch: “This is a big step for Floward as it is the first European city we launch in. This year has been filled with challenges, but it also offered opportunities to the ecommerce industry. International expansion has always been a part of our vision and we are excited to finally launch in London.”
